About the work
More context for sharing and collecting.
Juniper Sky is built on a wide field of blue and the upward movement of a single tree.
In the original post, Chamberlain described the work as a search for depth in open sky and a sense of longing that never leaves the landscape.
The painting was later shown in the Utah Statewide Annual Exhibition, which made it one of the clearest public-facing landscape works in the archive.
